Indulge in versatile sweet crepes, ready for your choice of jam, ice cream, or elegant Cherries Jubilee and crepes Suzette fillings.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt by sifting. Stir in milk, butter, and vanilla, then add eggs and mix until smooth.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle and swirl the pan to spread the batter evenly.
  • Fry the crêpe for approximately 2 minutes until the bottom turns a light golden brown. Gently loosen with a spatula, flip, and cook the opposite side.
  • Layer the cooked crêpes with wax paper in between each one and cover with a dry cloth until serving.
