Transform your regular burritos into Crunchy Taco Burritos by adding Hamburger Helper™ for a satisfying crunch. A fun twist on Mexican night that's simple to make and delicious to eat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef (at least 80% lean)
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ crunchy taco
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 12 tortillas from 2 packages (11 oz) Old El Paso™ Flour Tortillas for Burritos (8 Count)
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, cook the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until fully cooked; then drain any excess grease. Add water, 1 cup of milk, and the sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper box, stirring until well combined. Bring to a boil, then mix in the uncooked rice from the Hamburger Helper box.
  • Lower the heat and cover the pot. Let it simmer for approximately 25 minutes, stirring every now and then, until the rice is nice and tender.
  • In a small bowl, gently mix the milk and topping mix (from the Hamburger Helper box) for 30 seconds; then, set aside. Lightly crush the corn chips (from the Hamburger Helper box) and set aside.
  • Warm tortillas according to package instructions. Fill each tortilla generously with 1/4 cup of beef mixture. Drizzle with cheese topping and top with green onions, tomato, and crushed corn chips. Fold tortilla to enclose the filling: fold bottom, then sides, and finally the top.
