Create adorable reindeer Christmas cookies with Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix, icing, and chocolate frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 2 tubes (4.25 oz each) Betty Crocker™ white decorating icing
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown paste food color
  • 1 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy dark chocolate frosting (from 1-lb container)
  • Betty Crocker™ decorating gel, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg in a bowl until a soft dough forms. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness and cut out reindeer shapes using a 4-inch cutter. Place the cutouts on ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until lightly browned. Let it cool for 1 minute, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Allow to cool completely.
  • Combine white icing with food color in a small bowl. Spread this mixture over the heads and bodies of the reindeer. Frost the antlers, tails, and hooves with chocolate frosting. Decorate as desired using decorating gel. Allow to stand until the frostings are set.
