Irresistible Reuben pinwheels: Mustard, pastrami, Swiss cheese rolled up for a crowd-pleasing party bite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar Dijon mustard
  • 1 pound sliced pastrami
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons caraway seeds, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle flour on a work surface. Unwrap puff pastry sheets; roll each into a 10x15-inch rectangle. Smooth a layer of Dijon mustard on the pastry. Top with pastrami slices and Swiss cheese slices. Roll tightly. Wrap in plastic and chill for 1-24 hours. Enjoy!
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare 2 baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Cut puff pastry rolls into thin, 1/4-inch slices and arrange on baking sheets. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with caraway seeds for extra flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes until the pastry is lightly browned. Allow it to sit on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing.
