Reuben Pizza: A tasty twist on the classic sandwich with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
  • 0.5 cup thousand island dressing
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 6 ounces deli sliced corned beef, cut into strips
  • 1 cup sauerkraut - rinsed and drained
  • 0.5 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 0.25 cup chopped dill pickles
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a large pizza pan.
  • Roll out bread dough on a lightly floured surface into an 18-inch circle and transfer to a pizza pan. Shape the edges and poke the center all over with a fork to prevent doming while baking.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • - Drizzle half of the salad dressing over the hot crust, followed by half of the Swiss cheese. - Layer the corned beef over the cheese, then drizzle the rest of the salad dressing on top. - Add sauerkraut and the remaining Swiss cheese, then sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  • Continue baking in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the toppings are heated through. Sprinkle with chopped pickle and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
