Elevate your dish by using soaked dried black beans cooked in a rice cooker for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dried black beans
  • 3 cups water, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • Add black beans to a pot and pour in 3 cups of water. Allow the beans to soak for 5 minutes. Remove any floating debris from the surface. Drain the beans.
  • Soak black beans in 3 additional cups of water overnight, then drain.
  • In a rice cooker, mix drained beans with 3 cups of water. Set to "Porridge" setting and cook until tender for about 2 hours, adding extra water if necessary. Once cooked, drain excess liquid.
