Make a quick family meal using ready-to-roast chicken and creamy polenta for a fast and delicious dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 roast chicken
  • 1020.00 gm (1 litre) chicken style liquid stock
  • 250ml milk
  • 150.00 gm instant polenta
  • 125.00 ml grated parmesan (optional)
  • Thyme leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, bring the stock and milk to a boil. Slowly pour in the polenta while stirring continuously for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy. Be cautious of bubbling and splattering. Mix in the parmesan and serve promptly alongside roast chicken.
