Indulge in succulent roast pork cooked with dried fruit, apple juice, and spices – a unique and delightful dish!
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2-pound pork boneless loin roast
  • 1 package (8 ounces) mixed dried fruit (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Layer the onion in a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, followed by placing the pork on top of the onion and finishing with arranging the fruit on top of the pork.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients and drizzle them over the fruit.
  • Slow cook the pork on low heat for 7 to 9 hours until tender. Serve the fruit mixture over the pork.
