Savory roasted cabbage with crispy edges, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and zesty lemon - a simple, flavorful side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 head green cabbage, cut into 4 wedges
  • 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 lemons, halved
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Coat cabbage wedges with olive oil and generously season both sides with garlic powder, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Place wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then flip cabbage and continue roasting until nicely browned and charred in some spots, about 15 minutes more.
  • Drizzle each lemon wedge with fresh lemon juice before serving. Enjoy!
