Butter and caraway roasted cabbage wedges, tender and charred for a delicious side.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) cabbage
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cabbage in half through the core and then into 8 wedges. Arrange the wedges on the baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together butter, caraway seeds, and vinegar. Brush half of the mixture over the potato wedges. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Roast the wedges in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip them gently, brush with remaining butter mixture, and season with more salt and pepper. Return to the oven and roast until wedges are soft and edges are lightly charred, another 8 to 10 minutes.
