Tangy lemon-bacon dressed cabbage wedges, roasted in foil for a perfect side dish with grilled meat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 medium head cabbage, cored and quartered
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a piping hot 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Combine savory bacon, tangy lemon juice, flavorful Worcestershire sauce, high-quality olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Let the flavors meld together while you prepare the rest of the dish.
  • Place each cabbage quarter on a generous piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle the bacon sauce evenly over each quarter, making sure to cover them completely. Wrap the foil tightly around each quarter to seal it completely.
  • Roast in the oven until tender and heated through, 20 to 30 minutes.
