Savor the irresistible aroma of roasted garlic in this creamy aïoli, elevated with zesty lemon juice and a touch of Worcestershire sauce. Perfect for dipping or drizzling on your favorite dishes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to start creating delicious dishes!
  • Prepare the garlic by trimming the top to expose the cloves. Then, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
  • Roast in the oven until garlic cloves feel tender when gently squeezed, approximately 1 hour.
  • Let the dish cool down on the counter for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, refrigerate until fully chilled for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Using a sharp knife, separate the garlic cloves and transfer them to a small bowl. Mash them with a fork until smooth. Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne until fully combined. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour for the flavors to meld.
