Indulge in a delectable cream cheese spread infused with roasted garlic - a must-have for any appetizer spread.
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium bulb garlic
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 packages (3 oz each) cream cheese, softened, cut into cubes
  • 3/4 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese (3 oz)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • Additional chopped fresh rosemary leaves, if desired
  • Bagel chips or crackers, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Slice off the top one-fourth of a garlic bulb and gently drizzle with oil. Wrap the bulb in foil and bake for 30 minutes, or until soft. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before using.
  • Press the tender garlic into the food processor; combine cheeses, 2 tsp rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend with short pulses for 30 seconds, scraping the sides. Process for an additional 20 seconds until creamy.
  • Transfer the spread into a stylish serving bowl and enhance it with fresh rosemary. Enjoy with crispy bagel chips and keep any leftovers covered in the fridge.
