Crispy roasted okra with olive oil, salt, and pepper for a deliciously firm texture.
Ingredients:
  • 18 fresh okra pods, sliced 1/3 inch thick
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  • Spread the okra evenly on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with kosher salt and pepper.
  • Roast the okra in the preheated oven until it's golden brown and tender, for about 10 to 15 minutes.
