Enjoy decadent Romanoff potato bake - simple to make, perfect for sharing, and a delight for your palate.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg white potatoes, skin on
  • 1 medium brown onion, finely grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 20.00 ml Vegetable Stock Powder
  • 250ml (1 cup) sour cream
  • 240g (3 cups) grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 220C (200C if you like it fan forced).
  • Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking tray and bake until tender, typically 30-40 minutes. Let them cool down before giving them a rough grate.
  • In a lightly greased 10 cup capacity rectangular baking dish, layer potato, onion, garlic, 3 tsp stock powder, half of the sour cream, and half of the cheese. Smooth the top. Dollop the remaining sour cream over the potato mixture and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and stock powder over the dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve hot.
