Creamy egg noodles with sour cream, Parmesan, chives, and garlic topped with extra Parmesan. Rich, tangy, and flavorful perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
Instructions:
  • Cook the egg noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water until they are al dente, then drain them.
  • Combine sour cream, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, chives, salt, black pepper, and garlic in a large bowl.
  • Add the butter or margarine to the hot egg noodles and blend in the sour cream mixture.
  • Place the noodles elegantly on a warm platter and generously sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of flavorful grated Parmesan cheese.
