Whip up these one-bowl rum balls with wafer cookies, cocoa, rum, and nuts for effortless, boozy, bite-sized holiday gifts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1.5 cups chopped nuts
  • 0.75 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.25 cup cocoa
  • 0.5 cup light rum
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 0.125 cup confectioners' sugar, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • Collect all of your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • In a large bowl, mix together vanilla wafers, nuts, 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar, and cocoa until well combined.
  • Combine rum and corn syrup until fully incorporated.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then coat them with confectioners' sugar.
  • Enhance the flavor of your rum balls by storing them in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. Just before serving, give them a fresh dusting of confectioners' sugar.
