Rum old fashioned

Elevate the classic Old Fashioned with dark rum and zesty orange for a deeply-flavored cocktail twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 parts Bacardi Dark rum
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 splash water
  • 1-2 tsp sugar/a sugar cube
  • ice cubed
Instructions:
  • - Combine sugar (cube or granulated) and Angostura Bitters in a rocks glass with one ice cube. - Stir until sugar is dissolved (crush sugar cube if using). - Add 3 to 4 ice cubes and half of the Bacardi Dark rum, stir for 60 seconds. - Fill the glass with more ice, pour in the rest of the Bacardi Dark rum, stir for another 60 seconds. - Cut a piece of orange peel the size of your thumb, release oil over the drink by bending it. - Drop orange peel into the drink, stir a few more times, and serve promptly.
