Quick and tasty baked salmon, ready in under 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 (8-ounce) skin-on salmon filets
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425°F while you line a sheet pan with foil and place it in the center of the oven.
  • Create a delicious glaze by combining brown sugar, mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl until smooth and drizzly.
  • Prepare the salmon: For skin lovers, thoroughly pat the salmon skin dry using a clean dish towel or paper towels. For non-skin eaters, skip this step. Arrange the fillets skin side-down on the baking sheet with ample space between each piece. Generously spoon the glaze over the fillets, ensuring full coverage on the tops, then use the back of the spoon to evenly spread it out.
  • Bake until the salmon tops are golden brown and slightly crispy, about 12-14 minutes. The salmon should feel firm when pressed and easily flake with a fork. For thin filets, check doneness at 10 minutes.Pull out the salmon when a thermometer reads between 125°F and 130°F. Use a spatula to plate and serve warm. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. When reheating, bake slowly at 300°F on a foil-lined pan to prevent dryness. If you enjoyed the dish, please leave a review!
