Tender taco-seasoned chicken baked with salsa and melted cheese in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
Instructions:
  • Get all the ingredients ready. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Lay the chicken breasts in the dish and generously coat both sides with the flavorful seasoning mix.
  • Drizzle salsa over the dish.
  • Roast in the hot oven until the chicken is tender, juicy, and the juices run clear, for 25 to 35 minutes.
  • Generously coat chicken with a blanket of delicious cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is gooey and bubbly, for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with a dollop of tangy sour cream and present.
