Salted Caramel Apple Push-It-Ups

Autumn spice cake push up pops with caramel apples, sea salt, and whipped cream for a delicious and mess-free dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups chopped peeled apples (2 medium)
  • 1 bag (14 oz) caramels, unwrapped
  • 3 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 24 push-up cake pop containers
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat 48 mini muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs on low speed until incorporated, then beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Mix in the chopped apples. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, warm caramels, whipping cream, and salt over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring often until fully melted.
  • Place a mini cupcake into each push-up pop container. Drizzle with melted caramels and frosting, then repeat layers. Finish by sprinkling chopped peanuts on top.
