An enticing blend of spicy, sweet, and savory flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 25g butter
  • 45g (1/4 cup) brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 2.40 gm sea salt
  • 1.25 gm smoked paprika
  • 40.00 gm water
  • 250g pecan nuts
Instructions:
  • In a frying pan over low heat, melt the butter. Mix in the sugar, salt, paprika, and water, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the nuts and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until they are glazed and golden brown, being careful not to burn them.
  • Spread the nuts on a lightly greased baking tray to cool. Gently separate them before serving with hot buttered rum.
