Salted Caramel-Chocolate Banana Skillet Brownie

Indulgent skillet brownie topped with caramelized bananas, made effortlessly with only five ingredients using the microwave.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (17.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on box for cakelike brownies
  • 1/3 cup salted caramel topping
  • 3 ripe medium bananas, cut into 3/4-inch slices (about 2 1/2 cups)
  • Coarse sea salt, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease the bottom of an 8-inch cast-iron skillet with shortening. Prepare brownie batter following the instructions on the box for a cakelike consistency. Spread the batter in the skillet.
  • Bake for 38 to 41 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out nearly clean. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
  • Combine the caramel topping and bananas in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the bananas are soft and warm. Drizzle the mixture over the brownie, cut into wedges, and finish with a sprinkle of sea salt.
