Salted Peanut Glazed Brownies

Irresistibly rich and decadent brownies topped with a glossy peanut butter glaze and redskin peanuts. Made easy with Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix, chocolate chips, and a silky vanilla peanut butter glaze. Perfect for any occasion and sure to impress your guests - no leftovers guaranteed!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped redskin Spanish peanuts
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease the bottom of a 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare brownie batter following the box instructions. Gently mix in chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of peanuts. Spread evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 28-31 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Combine frosting and peanut butter in a medium microwavable bowl and stir until smooth. Microwave the mixture uncovered on High for 20 to 30 seconds until it is warm and pourable. Drizzle the mixture over the baked brownie, spread it evenly, then sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top. Allow it to set for about an hour before serving.
  • Cut the dish into 16 equal-sized pieces and store them in an airtight container.
