Indulge in peanut butter cookie dough bars loaded with marshmallows, peanuts, and gooey caramel.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 20 caramels, unwrapped (From 11-oz bag)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cocktail peanuts
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and coat the bottom of an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie mix, flour, softened butter, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Take out from the oven.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat caramels and whipping cream uncovered on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Pause to stir after 1 minute, until caramels are melted. Mix until smooth.
  • Sprinkle partially baked cookie base with peanuts, then drizzle with caramel mixture. Drop teaspoonfuls of marshmallow creme randomly over caramel, and crumble remaining cookie dough on top.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, for about 18 to 22 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly for around 2 hours. Cut into perfect bars by slicing into 4 rows by 4 rows.
