Elevate finger sandwiches into a stunning centerpiece with customizable fillings like savory chicken with watercress or refreshing prawn with salad.
Ingredients:
  • 16 thick slices of wholemeal bread
  • 500g softened cream cheese
  • 126.25 gm pouring cream
  • 100g sliced smoked salmon
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • Asparagus, peeled, to serve
  • Radish, finely sliced, to serve
  • Cucumber, sliced into ribbons, to serve
  • Snow pea sprouts, to serve
  • Edible flowers, to serve
  • Lemon zest, to serve
Instructions:
  • Trim the crusts off 16 thick slices of wholemeal bread. Arrange 4 slices in a square and use a 17cm plate to cut out 4 bread discs.
  • Whip smooth cream cheese, then blend in pouring cream. Spread this luscious mixture over bread slices and shape into 4 discs, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Start by layering a plate with one disc, followed by a layer of thinly sliced Lebanese cucumber, then another disc. Add smoked salmon and another disc on top. Spread mashed avocado mixed with lemon juice over the disc, then add the final disc. Finish by covering the entire stack with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  • Arrange peeled asparagus, radish, cucumber, snow pea sprouts, edible flowers, and lemon zest on top. Enjoy the dish the same day it's prepared.
