Switch up your chicken game with these simple and delicious burgers - the ideal choice for a laid-back Friday night meal.
Ingredients:
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 2 green onions, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 82.50 ml coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 133.75 gm Satay Sauce
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
  • 4 oak leaf lettuce leaves
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, cut into long, thin ribbons
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together mince, onions, coriander, and 1/4 cup of satay sauce until fully combined. Use your hands to shape the mixture into 4 patties and place them on a lined tray. For best results, refrigerate the patties for 30 minutes before cooking, if time allows.
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add patties and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Place on paper towel to drain.
  • While the satay sauce gently warms up in a small saucepan, toast the bread buns.
  • On a serving board, place the bottom buns. Layer each with lettuce, cucumber, and a pattie. Drizzle with warm satay sauce and top with the bun lids. Serve and enjoy!
