Succulent roast beef hoagies loaded with bell peppers, onions, pasta sauce, and melted provolone cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, sliced
  • 0.5 pound deli sliced Angus roast beef
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 6 hoagie buns
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Warm the sauce in a covered small saucepan over low heat until just heated through.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook garlic, peppers, and onion until softened, about 3 to 5 minutes; set aside. In the same skillet, warm roast beef until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 1. Open the hoagie buns lengthwise and layer roast beef slices on each. 2. Add vegetables, approximately 1/4 cup of Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce, and a slice of provolone cheese on each. 3. For extra flavor, heat the remaining sauce for dipping on the side.
  • Arrange hoagies on a baking sheet and bake until the cheese is bubbly and melted, for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve piping hot and savor every bite!
