Festive Jimmy Dean® Sausage breakfast bake with dried cranberries, ideal for cozy holiday mornings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Regular Sausage
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 (2.75-ounce packages) sausage country gravy mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage, using a spatula to break it apart until it is cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the cooked sausage to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
  • Combine milk, water, and gravy mix in a saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the gravy boils and thickens, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in crumbled sausage.
  • Roughly tear the biscuits and layer half of them evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the sausage and gravy mixture over the biscuits and top with the remaining biscuit pieces. Sprinkle with dried cranberries.
  • Bake in the oven until the biscuits turn golden, approximately for 20 minutes.
