Turkey, cranberry and brie sausage roll bags recipe

Festive flavors of Christmas in one delicious bite: turkey, cranberry, cheese, and sausage rolled in flaky pastry.
Ingredients:
  • 400g turkey breast mince
  • 23.40 gm cranberry sauce
  • 20.00 ml chopped dried cranberries
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh sage
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh chives
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 100g brie, cut into 16 equal pieces
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Extra cranberry sauce, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 220C/200C fan-forced and prepare 2 baking trays by lining them with baking paper.
  • Combine ground meat, cranberry sauce, fresh cranberries, sage, chives, and garlic in a bowl. Season generously with salt and pepper, then mix thoroughly.
  • Cut each pastry sheet into 4 squares. Shape 1 1/2 tablespoons of mince mixture into a disc, place a piece of brie in the center, then enclose the brie with the mince. Put the mince and brie onto the center of a pastry square. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg, fold up the sides to create a pouch, and pinch to seal. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Arrange on baking trays.
  • Gently glaze pastry with beaten egg. Bake for 20 minutes until beautifully golden and puffy. Let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes before indulging. Enjoy with a dollop of extra cranberry sauce on the side.
