Delicious, comforting dish made with only 6 simple ingredients in one pot!
Ingredients:
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 500g pork chipolata sausages
  • 1 brown onion, halved, sliced
  • 125g chorizo
  • 2 x 400g cans diced tomato with oregano and basil
  • 400g can lentils, drained, rinsed
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
Instructions:
  • In a large, heavy-based saucepan over medium-high heat, sizzle chipolatas in batches, turning occasionally, for 5 minutes until golden brown. Place on a plate.
  • Sauté onion and chorizo until onion softens. Mix in tomato and lentils. Add sausages back to the pan, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes until sausages are cooked through and sauce thickens. Garnish with parsley before serving.
