Quick and easy sausage and mushroom pasta, ideal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 375g pasta shells
  • 500g No Added Hormones Australian Beef Sausage with Herbs & Garlic, casings removed
  • 200g cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 500g Mum’s Sause Bolognese
  • Flat-leaf parsley leaves, to serve
  • Shaved parmesan, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil the pasta in a large saucepan of water according to the package instructions until it is firm to the bite. Drain the pasta.
  • Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, stirring occasionally to break into lumps, until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 minutes.
  • Sauté the mushroom in the pan until tender, about 3-4 mins. Pour in the sauce and simmer. Fold in the spinach, then take off the heat and season to taste.
  • Combine the pasta with the sauce mixture, ensuring they are well mixed together. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
