Irresistible low-fat cheese sausage balls, a hit at Christmas party, bake to perfection without frying.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 pounds pork sausage
  • 1.5 cups buttermilk baking mix
  • 16 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a bowl, mix together the sausage, baking mix, cheddar cheese, onion, celery, and garlic powder until well combined. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet with space in between. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
