Vegetarian twist on our popular Sausage-Cheese Balls appetizer, packed with savory flavor and cheesy goodness.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (9 oz) frozen spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup tomato pasta sauce, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and generously spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, excluding the pasta sauce. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange them on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown, then swiftly transfer from the pan and serve with pasta sauce.
