Try this zesty pasta with spicy sausage for a tasty twist without the tomato sauce!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound spicy pork sausage
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.75 (16 ounce) package no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage evenly. Drain, then add spinach and Alfredo sauce. Season with pepper and cook until spinach and sauce are heated through.
  • Combine the Cheddar cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg in a bowl.
  • Start by creating layers in a 9x13 inch baking dish: spread 1/3 of the sausage mixture, lay down 1/3 of the noodles, and spoon 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat these layers two more times. Finish by topping it off with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake covered in a preheated oven for 45 minutes. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
