Cheesy smoked sausage appetizer baked with Original Bisquick® mix, golden and delicious in just 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded American-Cheddar cheese blend (2 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 36 cocktail-size smoked sausages (from 14-oz package)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease cookie sheets. Combine Bisquick mix, milk, and cheese in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Split dough in two. Roll out one portion into a 9x6-inch rectangle on a surface dusted with Bisquick mix. Spread 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce over the dough. Slice the dough into 18 (1/2-inch) strips. Wrap each strip around a sausage and position them about 1 inch apart on a cookie sheet.
  • Continue the process with the remaining dough, barbecue sauce, and sausages.
  • Bake until dough turns golden brown, about 8-11 minutes.
