Sausages with real baked beans

Homemade baked beans: irresistible flavor awaits.
Ingredients:
  • 12 higher-welfare chipolata sausages
  • olive oil
  • 8 rashers higher-welfare pancetta or streaky bacon
  • 600 g jarred cooked white beans, such as haricot, butter bean or cannellini drained and rinsed
  • 500 ml base tomato sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220ºC/425ºF/gas 7. Place chipolata sausages in a roasting tin with a splash of olive oil. Bake for about 15 minutes, tossing occasionally, until well browned. Chop 4 pancetta rashers. In a saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil, fry pancetta until light brown, then add beans and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, season to taste. Grill remaining pancetta until crisp. Serve beans on 4 plates, topped with 3 chipolatas and 1 crispy pancetta rasher.
