Sautéed broccolini: a crispy, tender side that complements any protein.
Ingredients:
  • 2 bunches broccolini, stem ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water, or as needed
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt, to taste
Instructions:
  • Wash broccolini and gently dry with paper towels.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute broccolini in olive oil for 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and edges brown. Add garlic slices and cook for 30 seconds. Pour water, cover, and steam on medium-low until crisp-tender and water evaporates, about 3 to 4 minutes. For softer broccolini, add more water, cover, and cook a few more minutes.
  • Drizzle broccolini with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with salt to enhance the flavors.
