Upgrade classic cauliflower with zesty mustard bread crumbs for a quick and delicious side dish in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium head cauliflower (about 2 lb), trimmed and cut into florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs (about 3 slices bread)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Heat 1 inch of water in a 10-inch skillet until boiling. Stir in salt and add cauliflower, bringing back to a boil. Boil uncovered for 3 minutes until almost tender. Drain cauliflower in colander and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in mustard, then add breadcrumbs. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until the crumbs are golden brown. Transfer the crispy crumbs to a plate.
  • In the same skillet over medium-high heat, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter along with the oil. Add cauliflower and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Sprinkle crumbs on top.
