Savoy cabbage, pear, Pecorino Romano, walnuts, and champagne vinegar create a crisp and elegant salad.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 large savoy cabbage, stem and tough outer leaves removed
  • 1 small pear, sliced into bite-sized pieces (with peel)
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup raw walnut halves
  • 2 ounces Pecorino Romano cheese, cut into small chunks
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 0.125 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon champagne vinegar
Instructions:
  • Cut the savoy cabbage into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a spacious salad bowl.
  • Drizzle freshly cut pear pieces with zesty lemon juice and mix gently. Combine with fresh savoy cabbage. Top with crunchy walnuts and sharp Pecorino Romano cheese.
