Indulgent seafood lasagna with creamy Alfredo sauce, a family favorite that's worth the effort.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package lasagna noodles
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 (16 ounce) jars Alfredo-style pasta sauce
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound bay scallops
  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat, chopped
  • 20 ounces ricotta cheese
  • black pepper
  • 6 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain.
  • 1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, sautee garlic and mushrooms in oil until tender. Add 2 jars of Alfredo sauce, then stir in shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until heated through. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, egg, and pepper.
  • Create a delicious lasagna by assembling layers in the 9x13 inch baking dish: noodles, ricotta mixture, Alfredo mixture, and shredded cheese. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake uncovered in a hot oven for 45 minutes, then cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
