Creamy seafood lasagna with crab and shrimp, layered with noodles, cheese, and baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 1.5 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pound cooked small shrimp
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 0.33333334326744 cup dry white wine
  • 0.5 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Boil lightly salted water, then cook lasagna noodles until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté onion in the butter until tender. Remove from heat and mix in cottage cheese, cream cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Set aside.
  • Combine the condensed soup, shrimp, crabmeat, milk, and wine in a large bowl, stirring until well mixed; set aside.
  • Create layers of flavor by assembling your lasagna with 3 cooked noodles at the base of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Alternate spreading 1/3 of the onion mixture and 1/3 of the soup mixture over the noodles, repeating this step two more times. To finish, top generously with Cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake until golden and bubbling, around 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
