Seared ahi tuna with apple-ginger soy sauce and honey - a delicious 30-minute meal!
Ingredients:
  • 4 (4 ounce) ahi tuna steaks
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or to taste
  • 1 medium apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 ounces minced fresh ginger, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare a large skillet by lightly coating it with cooking spray and heat it over medium-high heat. Place tuna steaks in the skillet and sear each side for 90 seconds. Transfer the tuna steaks to a plate.
  • - Lower the heat to medium-low. - Combine soy sauce and honey in a small bowl. - Pour the mixture into the skillet with apple and ginger. - Cook until tender, about 5 to 10 minutes. - Serve the sauce on the side or drizzle it over tuna steaks before serving.
