Asian-inspired beef bites marinated in sesame oil, teriyaki, and hoisin sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 pound beef tenderloin, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 0.25 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Combine the sesame oil, vinegar, green onion, garlic, hoisin sauce, and chile garlic sauce in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Mix well. Add the beef tenderloin cubes and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours.
  • Preheat the broiler in the oven and position the rack 6 inches below the heat source. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Arrange the beef cubes evenly on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 8 minutes for a medium-well cook. Toss the cooked beef with teriyaki sauce in a bowl. Skewer each piece with a toothpick and arrange them on a serving platter. Finish by garnishing with sesame seeds before serving.
