Tender chicken thighs with a flavorful garlic sesame dressing for a perfect weeknight indulgence.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, divided
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), then prepare a deep oven-safe dish by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and garlic in a small bowl, creating a flavorful marinade.
  • Place the chicken in the dish and generously coat it by pouring the sauce and ensuring it is fully covered.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds over the chicken and bake for an additional 10 minutes until fully cooked. Check with an instant-read thermometer - it should read 165°F (74°C) near the bone.
  • Finish by generously scattering the remaining sesame seeds over the chicken just before serving.
