"Light and refreshing Asian-inspired pasta salad, perfect for summer gatherings."
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta
  • 0.33333334326744 cup light soy sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups shredded, cooked chicken breast meat
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped green onion
Instructions:
  • In a hot skillet, toast sesame seeds, stirring often, until lightly golden. Set aside.
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water until cool, and transfer to a large bowl.
  • Combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds, ginger, and pepper in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously until well mixed.
  • Drizzle the aromatic sesame dressing over the pasta and mix until each strand is perfectly coated. Then, combine the succulent chicken, fresh cilantro, and vibrant green onions with a gentle hand.
