Indulgent dessert with cookie crust, cream cheese, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate wafer crumbs.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 (5.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 12 chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and white sugar. Add margarine and cut in using 2 knives or a pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Press the mixture into a 10x10-inch square baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until the crust is lightly browned. Allow the crust to cool down.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread over the cooled crust evenly.
  • In the same large bowl, gently pour the milk. Using an electric mixer, blend in the chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes until the mixture becomes smooth and thick, which should take around 2 minutes. Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Clean the large bowl, then whip cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the pudding layer gently, and sprinkle with chocolate wafers. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
