Irresistible grilled hash browns with cheese, roasted peppers, and green onions for a breakfast crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1 lb. 4-oz.) pkg. refrigerated hash-brown potatoes
  • 6 oz. (1 1/2 cups) finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers (from a jar), if desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
Instructions:
  • Preheat the contact grill for 5 minutes.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Once the grill is hot, shape a generous 1/2 cup of the potato mixture into a 2-inch high patty and place it directly on the bottom grill surface. If needed, cook up to 3 patties at once. Close the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the patties are golden brown and crispy.
