Crunchy Brussels sprouts sautéed with crispy bacon, garlic, and toasted almonds, turning skeptics into fans.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 0.33333334326744 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a large deep skillet over medium heat until crispy and golden brown, about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove bacon using a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain.
  • Toast garlic and almonds in the fat until golden, then add Brussels sprouts and toss in the hot oil. Drizzle with red wine vinegar, cook until sprouts are wilted, then stir in bacon and season with salt and pepper.
