Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread cookies, made with only 4 ingredients. Ideal for festive occasions like Christmas.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the aromatic vanilla extract, then incorporate the flour thoroughly until fully blended.
  • Load the cookie press with dough and shape cookies onto two ungreased cookie sheets, leaving 1 ½ inches of space between each cookie. Bake until the edges begin to lightly brown, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Take out the cookie sheets from the oven and place them on a wire rack. Transfer the shortbread cookies to cool completely on the rack.
